Below we have endeavoured to produce ‘Pictorial Pedigrees’ for each of our dogs - click on the thumbnails to enlarge the pictures. This is an ongoing project and one or two pictures are still outstanding. In the meantime we would like to thank Maxine (Kimmax), Barbara Stamp (Tynsil) and Alex Friar (Sashal) for their help – Alex supplied pictures from the GWP Club Archives.

Shown here at the German Wirehaired Pointer Club 25th Anniversary Show (2006) where he won the DCC and Best Opposite Sex under Breed Specialist and Club President Diana Durman Walters, Fergus was our first GWP and entrusted to us as a puppy by Maxine and Peter McCullough (Kimmax) who have since become firm friends. Without a doubt Fergus is a real ambassador for the breed with his quiet, unassuming nature he is a big part of our family life and Penny’s constant companion.
To date he has 4CC's, 5RCC's and a G4.
In the summer of 2006 Fergus won 4th place at the Brittany Club Working Test and 2nd place at the Hungarian Viszla Working Test. He went on to be awarded the ‘Guns Award’ at the GWPC Novice Field Trial in early October 2006 and later that month he gained his Full Champion title when he was awarded his Show Gundog Working Certificate at the GSPA Novice Field Trial which was held at Aqualate in Shropshire, handled by Penny.
Fergus comes from lines which have been DNA tested clear of Von Willebrands.
Ollie is a lovable rogue, the Johnny Depp of the dog world and a real favourite with our girls at home. With his lean, athletic physique he was Best Dog at the GWPC Championship Show 2002 at the age of fourteen months and went on to win his title at two years of age under Mrs Mills de Hoog who is a Founder Member of the GWPC. It was a real honour to achieve his Title under such a well respected judge.
Ollie has gone on to win 6 CC's including RBIS at the GWPC Champ Show 2004 and 3RCC's.
Ollie comes from lines which are DNA tested clear of Von Willebrands.
We would like to thank Trish (Kobnko kennels) and Patti Roberts in the USA (Ky's breeder) for supplying the photographs for Ned's pedigree. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge the pictures.
Ned arrived here from the Kobnko kennels in Australia in May 2007. With his correct coat and construction and effortless movement not to mention his outstanding pedigree which combines top quality show and working lines, we are sure that Ned will be an asset to our kennel. His father and paternal grandfather and great grandmother are all 'Master Hunters' and his maternal grandfather is an Australian Grand Champion. There are numerous other Champions in his pedigree.
Shown sparingly in Australia whilst waiting for his Pet Passport Ned won (amongst other awards) Baby Puppy In Group and was shortlisted with three others for Best In Group at 8 months of age. He finished his last show in Australia with Puppy In Group. Ned also competed successfully at Crufts this year
Ned is DNA tested clear of vWD.

Milo is owned by and lives with our close friend and training partner Paul Gardiner (Eukrates). He is litter brother to our own two young bitches Lottie and Chunky and is out of our first litter of GWP’s born in April 2007 and registered under the Kimmax affix. Milo is striking in appearance, with a beautiful head, gentle expression and kind and biddable nature.
He is trained and handled by Paul for the showring and field and he also does obedience training and has already passed his Bronze and Silver Kennel Club Good Citizen Awards. He won first place in Puppy at the Hungarian Vizsla Working Test at Cornbury Park in May 2008. This was Milo's first official working test and there were twenty puppies running and he followed this a week later by winning his second puppy class at the Worcester Gundog working test - once again there were twenty puppies competing. Paul and Milo went on to complete the hat-trick by winning the puppy class at the Mid Wales working test at Rorrington. Three first places in as many weeks!
Paul is a trainer at Coventry Gundog and has had numerous Working Test judging appointments and his first Field Trial judging appointment in December 2007. He is available for one-to-one training – contact us for further details.
